BRAND NAME
The brand “Pyshkin Pyshkin” was named after the owners’ cat Pyshka, which means “doughnut” in Russian. The meaning of the name is visualized in the logo and the cat’s funny, cute and cheerful nature is reflected in the brand’s spirit.
ABOUT
The brand specializes in pastel garments made of quality materials often with author’s prints. The collection includes a variety of cute and quirky items, from dresses and tops to pants and accessories. All products are designed with modern aesthetics in mind and are ethically produced in Georgia.
Pyshkin Pyshkin’s founders, Elisabeth and Mikhail Kaneko are a young queer couple of designers who are passionate about creating fashion with an empowering message. They believe that fashion should make us feel confident, comfortable and beautiful. With their designs, they hope to offer a safe space for everyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.

BRAND HISTORY
Pyshkin Pyshkin was founded in the autumn of 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia as a cute pastel side brand of Kaneko.
The owners founded the brand Kaneko in 2017 when they started making accessories and headwear fully on self-funding. Slowly gaining recognition and customer respect, they moved towards clothing making in 2020. After the start of the war with Ukraine in February 2022, and participation in the anti-war protests they moved from Russia to Georgia, where they set up a new workshop. The brand currently includes only six people, including two founders: Mikhail Kaneko – a Japanese/Russian trans man, and his partner Elisabeth Kaneko.
